Counselling Fees
Lumina Counselling’s fee structure is $180.00 per hour (plus GST). It is recommended and encouraged to participate in a 2-hour session. However, we do our best to accommodate shorter and longer sessions. If, after half an hour, you are not satisfied with our service you can leave at no cost. The usual number of sessions required for therapy ranges from 3 to 5. Once sessions have concluded, you are encouraged to implement techniques learned during your therapy sessions. Payment for Session Fees
Payment may be made in advance, in person (at the end of each session), or shortly thereafter . We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit card, major credit card, or by e-transfer. Upon paying fees in full you may submit your claim to your insurance provider.
Please note that our registration is through the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta and this may affect coverage for services provided by Lumina Counselling. Please contact the provider of your insurance coverage for more information. In addition there is no fee for cancellation or rescheduling provided 24 hours’ notice is given; otherwise the fee will be $100.
